+709 I think that we should either get rid of the forum or make it available to members only. This would greatly reduce the amount of spam and encourage more people to sign up. Also, I use the forum for help with work but by the time I get an answer, I usually have looked elsewhere for help and solved the question myself. That being said, I feel like a lot of your hard work is being wasted because it never gets read/used. I would also like to apologize to anyone that answers my questions because I sometimes never read the answers until weeks later.

And no i think making it members only would be a bad idea too because just think about it. People are lazy. Make people sign up and they will stop coming make people stop coming and this forum will DIE! I get what your problem is and seriously once you think about it. It cannot be solved. Their are always going to be people who troll i mean we are online so yeah....Nothing you can really do.

+1694 I totaly agree that something should be done with the rules and regulations on this forum.
Here's my idea: Only those who are registered, and loged in as such, have a privilege to post questions and answers. All the others (unregistered), should be given the access to the forum just to read and learn.
This way we would most likely eliminate bad stuff, and even take this math forum to a higher level!?

However, Chris and I have very limited power on this forum.
The owner and developer of this site, Mr Massow, is the one who makes all decisions such as these.
He is nearing the completion of a new forum version. Hopefully, when it is implemented, many of our recent problems will be reduced very markedly.
