Q#1-A You want to list out the number of pets per people in the class. If 8 people have 0 pets, list 0 eight times. List the number 1, six times. List the number 2, three times. List the number 3, three times. So your list of numbers would be 00000000111111222333. Cross off the first number, then cross off the last number. Continue doing this until there is one number left in the middle. That will be your answer.

Q#2-D Repeat the process with the given information.

Q#3-A Repeat the process with the given information.

aren't we suppose to divide that 2 with 2 ? because I'm not getting one middle number, I'm getting pair of middle numbers. To find the value between them, add them together and divide by 2. This is the way i was taught in school. Please let me know. Thank you.

You're right about adding them together and then dividing by two. But when I redid this I got two 1's left and if you add them together and divide by two, you should get one. 00000000111111222333
