1. The equation of the parabola is y = 1/3*x^2 - x + 4/3, so abc = (1/3)(-1)(4/3) = -4/9.

 

3. y = -2x^2 + 8x + 15

 

(complete square) y = -2(x - 4)^2 + 47 ==> vertex = (4,47)
