The largest pyramid in the world, erected in about 2500 B.C. by Khufu, measures 230 meters on each side of its base.  Originally it was 147 meters high, but it has lost most of its original stone facing.  Which was the total lateral surface area originally covered by stones?

So, using the pathagoreum therum, we can see that the slant height of the pyramid is 186.6387. Now, we use that info to plug into the formula for lateral area, and see that the lateral area is about 85853 square Meters. So, the answer is C
