If x is a real number what is the smallest possible value of \(x^2 + 8\)? By real number I think they mean no imaginary numbers, and I think the answer is 8, but idk if its correct. Please help <3

Zero is a real number and will result in the smallest value = 8      Every other real number will result in > 8
