The area of the gray rectangle is 40 m^2. Find the area of the regular hexagon in square meters.

The length of that type of diagonal is sqrt3 times the side length. So the rectangle would be $$x\sqrt{3}$$ times $$x$$ or $$x^2\sqrt{3}$$
The area of a hexagon is $$(3\sqrt{3})*x^2/2$$. What we have is $$x^2\sqrt{3}$$. So multiply that by 3/2 to get 40*3/2=60
