Forty-eight congruent parallelograms with sides of length 62 feet and 20 feet are placed in a chevron pattern forming hexagon $ABCDEF$, as shown. What is the perimeter of hexagon $\allowbreak ABCDEF$?

Based on the information given, there are 24 parallelograms on top and 24 on bottom, that makes 48 sides with a length of 20 feet. There are also four sides with a length of 62 feet. So your answer is 48*20+4*62= 1208 feet.
