your car is valued at $9,000. If property tax is equal to 2% per year, how much would you pay to your local government per year/per month?

The equation is \(9000 \times \frac{2}{100}\) because 2% is 2/100, and they take 2% out of 9,000.

This equals 180.

Per Year: 180 and Per Month: 15

yearly: 180, monthly: 15

You are very welcome!
