Note that the first fraction can be reduced to

 

4

__         so we have

3

 

4    +      5

__        ______      

3           2n + 8

 

Cross-multiply  and keep the addition sign between the terms

 

4 (2n + 8)  +  3 * 5        simplify

8n + 32 + 15

8n + 47     (1)

 

Take the product of the denominators

3 ( 2n + 8)   =  6n + 24   (2)

 

Put (1)  over (2)

 

8n + 47

_______       and that's it, RP !!!!
