Q2: What restrictions may be necessary to the domain and range of linear equations?

I'm not sure if this is right, but this is what I learned in school 

If x is under a square root (√x) then x cannot equal a negative number. If x is in the denominator of a fraction (y/x) then x cannot equal zero.
