Please help me find the LCM of (x-3)^2, x^(2)-9, and (x+3)^3. Got stuck again :\

That's OK....this isn't too hard once we  get the hang of  it.....!!!!

 

 

(x -3)^2

 

x^2  -  9  =  (  x + 3) ( x - 3)

 

(x + 3)^3

 

List all  the  different factors of  theses polynomials = 

 

(x  - 3)  ,  ( x + 3)

 

Take the  highest powers found on  each

(x -3) ^2     and  (  x + 3)^3

 

LCM =      (x - 3)^2  *  ( x + 3)^3
