The circumference would be:

\(C=2*\pi*r\)

\(C=2*3.14*4\)

\(C=3.14*8\)

\(C=25.12\space ft\)

Since you want to find the equal distance from each other, divide the answer by 5.

\(\frac{25.12}{5}=5.024\)

So, your answer is that the equal distance that everyone is far from each other is 5.024

Let's use 3.14 for pi.

3.14*8 will equal the circumference of the circle.

3.14*8 = 25.12

Now, divide by 5 to find the distance they need to be away from each other for the spacing to be equal.

25.12/5 = 5.024

They need to be 5.024 feet from each other for them to be equally spaced. (That's a very large table.)

To find the answer you must

1. divide 4 by 5 = 0.8

2. You check it by 0.8 times 5 which is 4

3. Your answer would be 8 inches apart
