So this is my answers but I know that they are not rght because they dont add up to 1.

Plus I have been looking at similar problems such as **https://web2.0calc.com/questions/a-spinner-has-five-sectors-of-equal-size-the-sectors** but dont understand how CPhill got the fraction for spin 2 and 3.

Please help me. I would really appreicate it. Thank you in advance.

Here's the list of possible outcomes from CPhill's answer:

1,2 2,2 3,2 4,2 5,2

1,3 2,3 3,3 4,3 5,3

num of outcomes where no 3 is spun = **16** so probability that num spins showing 3 is 0 = 16 / 25 = 0.64

num of outcomes where one 3 is spun = **8** so probability that num spins showing 3 is 1 = 8 / 25 = 0.32

num of outcomes where two 3's are spun = **1** so probability that num spins showing 3 is 2 = 1 / 25 = 0.04

Do you see where the 16, 8, and 1 come from?

I completely understand now! I made the mistake on the num of outcomes where two 3's are spun by thinking it was 9/25 (adding all the 3 outcomes together) than just 1/25.
