If you were to pick two students out of a class of 7 girls and 6 boys, what is the probability that the students chosen are a boy and girl?
Nevermind, I solved it.
My solution:
The odds that the first student you pick is a girl is 7/13. The oddd that the secound student you pick is a boy is 6/12=1/2. So the you have to multiple 7/13 x 1/2 = 7/26. After that you have to multiple everything by 2! because the order doesn't matter and you get 7/26 x 2! =7/13.
