Let a and b be positive lengths, and consider the following triangles:

Then what are 

\(\angle A, \angle D, \angle G \) in radians, in that order?

I need the steps so I can see how you did it. I don't just want answers.

I am going to use the law of cosines since we have the sides. 

 

sqrt(a^2 + absqrt(3) + b^2)^2 = b^2 + a^2 - 2abcos(A)

a^2 + absqrt(3) + b^2) = b^2 + a^2 - 2abcos(A)

absqrt(3)  = - 2abcos(A)

-sqrt(3)/2 = cos(A)

A = arccos(-sqrt(3)/2) = 2.61799388 radians
