hmmm without the value of X i can't exactly find the value of y...give me the value of x and i can solve for you

The triangle is iscosceles where angle A  = angle B

So

34  =  x  - 5      add 5 to both sides

39° = x  .....so angle B  also equals  34°

So

34 + 34 +  4y  = 180

68 + 4y   =  180       subtract 68 from both sides

4y  = 112            divide both sides by  4

y  =  112 / 4  =    28

Edit to correct an idiotic error....LOL!!!!!
