The circumference of a circle is 2 π r    so    (2)(3.14) r = 37.68  

 

         r = 37.68 / 6.28   

 

         r = 6  

 

The volume of a sphere is (4/3) π r3   

 

         V = (4/3)(3.14)(63)   

 

         V = (4/3)(3.14)(216) = 904.32     round to nearest tenth per problem = 904.3 mm3
