ingredients summed = final product

 

.10 * x ml         +      .15 (50ml - x)    =    .12 (50 ml)    solve for x the amount of 10 %

 

.1x +                +      7.5  - .15x    =  6

- .05x   = -1.5

x = 30  ml   of 10%

 

50-30 = 20 ml of 15%
