Paula is 10 less than thrice Kaye's age.Two years from now Paula's age is twice Kaye's present age.How old is Kaye now?
If P and K represent the current ages of Paula and Kaye, respectively, then:
P = 3K - 10
and
P + 2 = 2K
Can you take it from here?
i got that, thanks btw, but my problem is i cant find the formula for 'k'
Replace P in the second equation by 3K - 10 (from the first equation) then rearrange to get K.
oh thanks :)
