Kristen will go 28 m/h *x miles these miles are equal when K catches L
6 + 8x = 28 x solve for 'x' which is th amount of HOURS they will meet
6 = 20x
x = 3/10 hr after K takes off on her bike she will catch L
How far is that? 28 m/hr x 3/10 hr = 8.4 miles from home.... and hopefully K has BROUGHT the wallet and not just the info that L forget it! !
