The Little Twelve Basketball Conference has two divisions, with six teams in each division. Each team plays each of the other teams in its own division twice and every team in the other division once. How many conference games are scheduled?

There are 6C2 ways to chose 2 people from 6 and that happens twice for division 1 pairups.
so that is 2*6C2 = 2*15 = 30
It is the same for the other division so that is another 30
Then for each to play across the divisions that is another 6*6=36
30+30+96=156 games.
