Explain how increasing the carbon dioxide partial pressure will increase the
amount of oxygen reaching the tissues.
In the tissues the oxygen levels are low and the carbon dioxide levels are high.
This is because the tissues are respiring and producing lots of carbon dioxide.
The blood will release oxygen to the tissues, for increased respiration. So
increasing the carbon dioxide levels increases the amount of oxygen available.
