If we let x be the pounds of apples and y = number of pies....we have a line
The slope is [ 10 - 5] / [ 4 -2 ] = 5/2
And using the point ( 2.5) we have the equation
y =(5/2)( ( x - 2) + 5
y = (5/2)x - 5 + 5
y = (5/2)x
