If n is an odd integer, which equation can be used to find three consecutive odd integers whose sum is −3?
A) n + (n + 1) + (n + 3) = -3
B) n + (n + 1) + (n + 2) = -3
C) n + (n + 2) + (n + 4) = -3
D) n + (n + 2) + (n + 3) = -3
n= 1st odd integer
then n+2 would be the NEXT consecutive odd integer and
n+4 would be the NEXT one after that
so n + n+2 + n+4 would be the sum of three consecutive integers (even or odd) if three ODD numbers add to a certain sum(which is odd) there will not be 3 consecutive even numbers that add to that sum (they would only add to a EVEN number)
So the answer would be.........????? Got it?
