If an arc of 45 degrees on circle A has the same length as an arc of 20 degrees on circle B, then what is the ratio of the area of circle A to the area of circle B? Express your answer as a common fraction.

 

Circle A:        r = 4       arc length = pi

 

Circle B:       20 / pi = 360 / x          x = 18pi          radius R = 9

 

A / B = (42pi) / (92pi)      = 16 / 81 laugh
