I'm taking AP calc AB for this semester and I UH kinda havent done anything math over a year so i am struggling a bit....trying to cram everything within 2 days.......anyways
does anyone remember how to do this?
given f(x) = x^2+6x+7

what are all the values x can be  if f(x) > 2?

if anyone can explain the steps i'd rlly appreciate it cause im not looking for the answers!
thank you :)

f(x) = x^2 + 6x + 7

f(x) > 2

x^2 + 6x + 7 > 2

x^2 + 6x + 5 > 0

(x + 5)(x + 1) > 0

Either both positive or both negative.

x > -1

x < -5
