(5 points) Let f(x) = 1−x^2. Find and simplify the difference quotient f(a+h)−f(a)/ h .
show work please
You can plug in a+h as x to get 1 - $(a+h)^2$ which is f(a+h)
f(a) is 1-$a^2$.
If you take the difference of them you get -2ah-$h^2$
At the end just divide it by h to get -2a - h
Hope this helps,
