We can compare the areas of the shapes to the probability that points will get chosen inside them.

 

Area of the Triangle = bh/2

                                 = 7*4/2

                                 = 14 m2

 

Area of the Trapezoid = (ab/2)h

                                    = (8*13/2)*4

                                    = 52*4

                                    = 208 m2

 

Area of the Rectangle = bh

                                    = 17*25

                                    =  425 m2

 

 

Now, the final probability is =

\({14 + 208}\over{425}\)

= 222/425
