Christy's plan for a rectangler dog p***s too small. The perimeter needs to be more than 118 feet. If the width should be9 feet shorter than the length, what should the lentgth be? Can you please show me how you o the problem? Thank You!!!

Perimiter = 2(Length) + 2(Width)
Width=Length-9

118=2L+2(L-9)
118=2L+2L-18
118=4L-18
136=4L
34=L

W=L-9
W=34-9
W=25

P=2(34)+2(25)
P=118

That would be at 118 feet perimeter. Not sure what you mean by more than 118 feet. How much more? Might want to check your spelling too. "rectangler dog p***s"? hahahahaha
