3x^{2} + 5x + 7 = 2x^{2} – 4x – 11

x^{2} + 9x + 18 = 0

(x + 6)(x + 3) = 0 therefore u and v equal –6 and –3 (They're not necessarily in that order,

but it doesn't matter which is which.)

–6 / –3 = 2

–3 / –6 = 0.5 so their **total is 2.5**
