In an equation of the form with k = ax^2 + bx + c, the least possible value of k occurs at x = -b/(2a). In the equation k = (6x - 12)(x - 8) , what is the least possible value for k?

Multiply the expression $(6x-12)(x-8)$ out to a form $ax^2+bx+c$ where $a$, $b$, and $c$ are explicit constants.  Then substitute the values of $a$ and $b$ into the expression $-b/(2a)$ to get the answer.
