in January my father raised my monthly pay by 30%. in December my pay was lowered by 30%. i think i still have the same amount as before the raise of the%, i get the say amouont as before the raise of it. am i right? what percentage of my initial pay represents my new pay ?

And you don't get the same amount as the initial pay. I will give an example.



 

Let's say you have $100 monthly.

30% more means $130 monthly.

Then 30% less is not $100 monthly.
30% of 130 is 39.

130-39=91.


So you don't get the same amount of pay.

You should be able to take it from here.

i want to know if the raise was 30 % and then it was minus 30% . do i get the same money because is if like nothing happened?. casue he gave me 30 % more and then he said 30% less.
