I have been told to create a rollercoaster using piecewise functions (functions with restricted domain and range). i have completed building this rollercoaster using desmos. you can see it at https://www.desmos.com/calculator/6iojgywekq

1) for the first question, i have to state the domain and range for each piece in my design. i already know the restricted domains for each, but i was wondering whether it is necessary to state the domain as well? i ask this because i notice that when a domain is restricted, the range is also automatically restricted. i have also noticed that changing the range of some of these piecewise functions has no effect on the piece since the range has already been dictated by the domain? Can someone please clear up this concept for me?

2) How do i determine the symmetry of each of my functions in the design? Whether they are odd, even or neither?

3) finally, how do i use the 3 functions below and model them into a single equation? What would that equation be?

y=0 { 0≤x15}

f(x)= 1/12 (x-15)2 {15≤x≤37}≥
f(x)= -1/6(x-48.4)2+62 {37≤x≤65}
