The vertices of \(\triangle XYZ \) are \(X(-4,7)\)\(Y(0,8)\), and \(Z(2,-1)\)

a. What are the vertices of \(r_{(180^ \cdot,O)}\)\(( \triangle XYZ)\)?

b. What are the vertices of \(r_{(270^ \cdot,O)}\)\(( \triangle XYZ)\)?

( O is the origin )

I'm not sure  of the notation, but I believe that the first  is a 180°  rotation about the origin

180° rotation    (x,y) → (-x, -y)

New  coordinates  X =  (4,-7)   Y =  (0, -8)  Z  =( -2, 1)

Second one is a  270°  rotation about the origin  = -90° rotation about the origin

-90° rotation   (x, y)  =  (-y, x)

New coordinates    X =  (-7, -4)   Y = (-8,0)  Z = ( 1, 2)
