1. What is the area of a regular hexagon with a side length of 6 yd? Round only your final answer to the nearest hundredth.

Ahexagon   

 

We have 6 equal triangles  each with a base of 6  and a height of 3√3

 

So 

 

6 * base * height / 2   =

 

6 * 6 * ( 3√3 ) /  2

 

 ≈ 93.53 yd^2

Lol that's for sure!

 

A lot of times I have to double-check things like 8 + 3, just to make sure it's still 11..haha you never know when it might change up on you one of these days!! x)
