10/7  :  4/9 = 3/14  :  t

This can be written

10/7  ÷  4/9 = 3/14  ÷  t       Keep, change, flip left side.

10/7  *  9/4 = 3/14  ÷  t       Multiply the fractions.

90/28 = 3/14  ÷  t               Multiply both sides by t.

t * 90/28 = 3/14                  Divide both sides by 90/28

t = 3/14 ÷ 90/28                 Keep, change flip the right side.

t = 3/14 * 28/90                  Multiply the fractions.

t = 84 / 1260                      Reduce.

t = 1/15

10/7 : 4/9 = 3/14 : t       we can write

(10/7) / (4/9)  =  (3/14) / t

Simplify the left side by inverting the second fraction and multiplying by the first

(90 / 28 )  =  (3/14) / t         reduce the fraction on the left side

(45 / 14) = (3/14) / t          multiply both sides by  (14/3)

(45 / 3)   =  1 / t

15  =  1 / t                 multiply both sides by t  and divide both sides by 15

t  =   1/15
