Siti and Zafri had some money in the ratio 3:4. They bought a present for their mother and shared the cost in the ratio 2:3. Siti used \( {1 \over 2}{}{}\) of her money to pay for her share. Zafri, after paying for his share, had $21 left. How much did the present cost?

Cost of the gift=45$

Siti and Zafri ratio = 3:4 = 12:16

Cost of the gift ratio = 2:3 = 6:9

21/(16-9)=3

Cost of the gift= (6+9)x3=45$
