What maths do I need to know to understand how to read scientific research? I know it's some probability and statistics but what and where on the web can I find this to teach myself? I have a relatively good understanding of mathematics in general.

Quick calculations are always good to know, along with what you brought up. You should also be comfortable working with variables.

Now, I am not a scientist, but these are just my guesses.

You are very welcome!
