should kid have 10 classes in one day from 8:00 am to 4:10 when they are 6th graders
+215 I don't think you should have ten classes in 6th grade because the classes are not even a hour or maybe some of them are 1 hour long.Also, you still need lunch and you still have homework. Also, then you probably have study hall or something like that at some point and you should have at least 30 minutes or more for study hall if you are not doing a sport or something else for study hall. Each assignment for homework should take about 10 to 15 minutes each day.
