You know, it is much nicer if you ask a question in a sentence with a please (or equivalent) attached!

Now, since the power (exponent) is negative, that means that this is a very little number.
The 6 means that you have have to jump the decimal point over 6 digits to get it to where it belongs. Actually draw the jumps in with your pencil
So, you have to move the decimal point over 6 places in the direction that will make 4.46 smaller.
If there are no digits to jump over just add in zeros.
Let's see if you can't do it now.
Why don't you post the answer and i can check if it is correct.

there are not enough zeros

4.46 x 10 -6

= 0.00000446

The 46 were already after the point.
you had to jump over the first 4 and then five zeros until you got were you needed to go. I put the 0 out the front just to make it easier to read.
