Simplifiying

Hi Zegroes,  I did not see you sneek on ther forum.  Why didn't you say hello   

I don't know if anyone is even on here anymore but can someone help me solve (2-4i) + 4.

You cannot solve it because there is no equal sign.  You can only simplify it.

(2-4i) + 4

= 2-4i+4

= 2+4-4i

= 6 - 4i

you have to distribute the 4 to the 2 so it becomes 6 - 4i.....and das teh answer!! ;) tank meh l8ter m8 -spoderman out
