First find 'x'

Arcsin(x) = Arcsin (1/2) = 30 degrees    now you can just use the calculator to find   cos(30) = .866    and tan(30) = .577

sinx=1/2

(1/2)^2 + cosx^2= 1

(1/4) + cosx^2=1

Then subtract (1/4) from one.

So that cosx^2=3/4

Then square your 3/4

cosx= Sqr(3) over 2

So then tanx is equal to Sinx/ Cosx

So tanx= 1/2 over Sqr(3)/2

To find you multipy by the reciprocal 1/2 * 2/Sqr(3, which gives you 2 over 2 Sqr(3

Which simplifies to 1/ Sqr(3 or just Sqr(3
