A bowling alley charges a flat rate of $50 dollars for a birthday party plus $5.50 for each person. Destiny can't spend more than $100.

The inequality equation is
5.50P + 50 ≤ 100 where P is the number of people she can invite ... subtract 50 from both sides
5.50P ≤ 50 divide both sides by 5.50
P ≤ about 9.09 people........so.......call it 9 people
