Whatever values of 'x' that make the DENOMINATOR = 0 are not allowed.

it is OK if the NUMERATOR = 0

so  any 'x' that makes   x^2-16 = 0 are not allowed

x^2-16=0

x^2 = 16

x= +-4          NOT allowed,  answer is 'c'
