You don't - you can just use the divide bar.

If you need full fration mode I suggest you use a different calc.

When you're writing a fraction in the calculator (for example: 1/2), put parentheses around what you are trying to make a fraction (for example: (1/2)). When you do this, it will show up as a fraction.
