How do I find the surface area of a cylinder?

Guest Oct 5, 2017

In order to calculate the surface area of a cylinder, you must know 2 measurements. They are the following:

1) The radius

2) The height

Once you know that, plug those values into the formula \(A=2\pi r(h+r)\) where h is the height and r is the radius.
