help my teacher told me that numbers like 7+7=17 and 9+9=19 and 6+6=16??? im in 3rd grade now and students think shes right but how does that add up like she sayd?? i have a homework page on it and she say we must do like she did showed us!!

I agree, your teacher is absolutley wrong!

do your homework the correct way. And prove it to her by using a calculator.

She is wrong! How can that be? 8+8=16! 7+7=14, 6+6=12, and 9+9=18! She is wrong! She is mistaken! DON'T FOLLOW THE TEACHER'S DIRECTIONS!!!! Tell her to fix the mistake!
