Yacob had a box of chocolates. \( {3 \over 4}\)  of the chocolates were dark chocolates

and the rest were white chocolates.  After  he  ate \({1 \over 2}\)  of  the  white

chocolates, there  were  90  more  pieces  of  dark  chocolates than white

chocolates. How many pieces of chocolates were there in the box at first?

c = original amount of chocs

3/4 c   = dark    1/4 c = w

(1/4 c ) 1/2 = 3/4 c - 90                     c = 144

At first
3/4 = 6/8

½ ×2 = 1【ate】

In the end
D-W = 6-1 = 5 → 90

8×(90÷5) = 144 (Ans)
