Rampager1998 has calculated the mean (average)...the problem asked for the median (the "middle" value)....which is the procedure I have described....

Therefore...you have two good statistical measures of the data....!!!

First 1 + 0.5 + 0.3 + 0 + 0 +0 + 1.2 + 3 + 0 + 1.1 + 0.7 + 2 + 1.3 + 2 = 13.1

Finally divide 13.1 by the number of numbers there are which is 14. So 13.1/14 = 0.936.

The mean to the problem is 0.936.

To find the median, arrange the values from lowest to highest.

Since we have even number of values, add the middle two (the 7th and 8th) and divide by 2.

This answer is the median.
