2x+1=x

x=-1     this is NOT in the relevant domain so its no good

 

7-x=x

7=2x

x=3.5   not in given domain

 

10-2x=x

10=3x

x=10/3       YES

 

10-x=x

10=2x

x=5           YES

 

so there are 2 solutions

 

$$x=5\qquad or \qquad x=3\frac{1}{3}$$
